How Merlin works its magic

Merlin Connect was specially developed for the cleaning and hygiene industry. By aggregating multiple data sources and providing insightful analytics, it enables improved efficiency, enhanced auditability and cleaner environments all round.

Sensor technology

Using sensor data to understand how buildings are being used, Mitie clients can tailor delivery to ensure cleaning operatives are in the right place, at the right time.

Bathroom sensors monitor usage and consumables. Desk sensors monitor occupation levels. Bin sensors register volumes of waste. When this data is fed into Merlin Connect, a detailed picture emerges of the building and required areas of focus. This enables demand-led service, increasing efficiency while maintaining the very highest standards of hygiene.
